- Agape love is an unconditional type of love. This is the love of friends and partners because it is really by choice.
- Philia love is love due to our likes and dislikes, desires and wants for certain things.
- Storge love is the love of a family and this is never by choice. This love requires a physical touch.
- Eros is the ultimate physical love where you have a desire for a sexual intercourse with your partner.
Meaning of love is such that it cannot be seen, heard or touched. It is a feeling which exists like a cool breeze. You know it is there but you might never be able to see it with your own eyes, hence, the most beautiful emotion on earth.
Defining Love: Is it Love or Plain Infatuation?
Love is not an easy emotion to define. People often confuse being in love with infatuation or lust. Many psychologists have made an effort to mark a clear distinction between being in love and lust.
