Rain, Rain, Don’t Go Away
Rain, rain don’t go away
Why don’t you come everyday
True friend, sole company
Either in December or through May
Sometimes droplets, like fairy’s feet
At times roaring like raven’s beat
Why do you leave ever so hastily?
Dear friend, dear company
You bring memories of a time long ago
When all was merry land, yet to know
Then thunder came along the way
And took a child’s wonder with its flow
Rain, rain don’t go away
Why don’t you come everyday
True friend, sole company
Either in December or through May
