It is really ” funny” that a person who thinks himself as a mature academic sholar, and who is also the administrator of an academic site, should suggest that a ‘funny’ persuasive topic could be ‘ Puerto Rico should be a state’. I can suggest a “funny” persuasive topic: Ignorance nurtures prejudice.

Why wouldd the russians bury Lenin?
I like how you separated the various topics by grade. Generally we focus on passing the essay portion of the GMAT with our students and try to just provide college-level topics.
