Perez Hilton Authors Book for Children: “The Boy With Pink Hair”
Celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, has authored his book titled, “The Boy with Pink Hair”, which according to his publisher professes individuality, belief in self and following your creative aspirations.
The book is to be published by Celebra Children’s Books, in partnership with Penguin Young Readers Group. According to Penguin, The Boy With Pink Hair is scheduled for publication in September 2011, and the first printing batch will be consist of 75,000 copies.
Perez Hilton’s claim to fame came in 2004 with his blog perezhilton.com which is famous for dirt bashing of celebrities, especially “Paris Hilton” The website gets an estimated 200 million hits a month and is one of the most-visited sites in the world.
The story revolves around a young boy who is naturally born with a shock of colored hair and feels himself excluded from the rest of the crowd. the story then takes the readers on a struggling journey about believing in yourself and not giving into societal pressures.
I do try it to my son if he likes it. But pretty sure it’s awkward for him to go out mingled with his friends on pink hair style. Funny but awesome.
