Blog Writing Guidelines For Beginners
Few years ago people were not really aware what blogging is all about and those who used to write blogs were considered as goldbricks. But now the trend is changing. Folks from the web are realizing that blogging is one of the safest and comfortable methods of earning money and that too without leaving home.
A blog is your personal journal where you can scribble about anything you want in a manner that appeals your readers. Blogging is the best medium which allows you to showcase your abilities, thoughts and opinions. Whether you are a teenager, an adult or a golden ager, you can become a pro blogger by following the few guidelines mentioned below:
Question Yourself
Ask yourself one question.
Am I a writer?
If the answer comes out to be Yes, then you are already qualified to do blogging. Next ask yourself your passion and get into it, more deep. If you are not a born writer, then remember, writing is an art which can be learned at any point in life by continuous struggling with words which key out your thoughts and opinions.
Read, Research and Revise
Read a lot because the more you read, the more you will refine your ideas as well as build an understanding of correct sentence structure. As a result, you will be able to learn to be more expressive and write with clarity.
Vocabulary and Style
Do not use the same words of vocabulary in majority of your articles. This will make your articles dull and draggy and readers will stop visiting your blog. Insertion of synonyms will slick up your writing.
Tone
The tone of your blog should be light and casual. Write as if you are talking to a friend.
Use Images to Attract
To make your blog more attractive and interesting to the readers, add colorful images and graphics to it.
Discover You and Your Niche
Find yourself a niche. A niche could be any area you like and can comfortably share your thoughts on it. A niche could be your favorite subject or your favorite profession such fashion designing or it could even be your hobby such as cooking, gardening etc.
Blogging Platform
You need to find a blog platform to share your writing with everyone on the Internet. Initially, you can use Blogger, Typead, Live Journal and Word press as they are popular and easy to navigate.
