LinkedIn Career Explorer to Spice Up Young Grads’ Resume
We all know that a resume is like a snapshot of your persona in terms of your qualification and work experience and a little carelessness in drafting your resume could result in irreversible consequences. Recently, Lindsey Pollak, famous author and official spokes person for LinkedIn has mentioned on the website;
Most people tend to use words such as ‘team player’, ‘motivated’, ‘innovative’, ‘entrepreneurial’ and the like to create an impression on the employer. But in reality, the opposite happens; the employer nowadays is never interested in these adjectives, he only wants to know details of your work experience. That is it! No frills required anymore.
More than eighty five million professionals have joined LinkedIn; not only because they are hunting more work opportunities but also because they want other professionals in the field to have a look at their background and achievements. For young grads, LinkedIn has lately introduced a tool called Career Explorer which helps them draw their career path. LinkedIn is trying to come up with more innovative ideas which are useful for the personal growth and grooming of its members.
